How to make a cake
Take a large bowl and pour the flour directly into it. In another, small bowl, add the ground yeast and a teaspoon of sugar. Add 2-3 tablespoons of warm milk and stir until the yeast and sugar dissolve. Also add a teaspoon of flour for consistency and cover the bowl with a towel. Leave the yeast to work for 10-12 minutes in a warm place.
In a large floured bowl, make a well in the middle and add the active yeast. Mix soft butter with sugar and eggs and put them in a bowl with flour and yeast. Pour warm milk and essential water, mixing everything in the bowl well. Mix the bread flour in the bowl until it doesn’t stick to your hands, adding more flour if necessary.
Cover the dish again with a towel and let it rise for 45-50 minutes.
10 minutes before the end of the yeast time, turn on the oven at 180 degrees and prepare the plums. Wash the plums, dry them and cut them in half, remove the pit, then cut them again.
How to assemble and cook delicious plums just like grandma’s
Place the parchment paper in a large saucepan. Divide the dough into two parts. Transfer the first part of the dough to the size of the tray, on a table sprinkled with flour. Use a rolling pin and transfer the dough to the pan. Use a fork to poke it from point to point.
Place the plums on top of the dough, cut side up.
