This plum jam is good for pies, rolls or just on buttered bread. It is very tasty, the advantage is that it is easy to prepare. Sweet is the perfect choice for those times when you feel the need to eat something sweet and tasty, but at the same time you don’t want to eat e-food from the store. That being said, here is what you need and how to make plum jam with walnuts.
2 kg of pitted plums
500 g of sugar
250 g of chopped or broken walnuts
A spoonful of vanilla extract
Cut the plums into cubes, put them in a bowl with sugar, lemon juice and stir gently from time to time until the sugar dissolves. We leave them like that until tomorrow. We break the plums and cook the juice obtained with vanilla extract and leave it until the amount of water is reduced by half. Add prunes, chopped walnuts and continue to cook until we get the consistency of jam. Yet in a sterilized pot, wrapped in a towel to cool slowly.
