- Strawberry cake
- A delicious meal for the whole family
The warm season is the right time to prepare a strawberry cake with a sweet and soft flavor, which goes wonderfully with a little vanilla or chocolate ice cream. Here are the things you need, but also the preparation process!
-340 g of white flour
-130 g of cold butter
-30 g of white sugar
-65 ml of cold milk
-3 grams of salt
-700 g of strawberries, washed and cut in half
-65 g white sugar
-45 g brown sugar
-30 grams of starch
– 30 ml of lemon juice
– a pinch of salt
– a pinch of ginger powder
-1 bed linen
-10 grams of white sugar
Mix the flour, salt and sugar in a bowl, then add the cubed butter and mix well with your fingers. Slowly add the beaten milk. Place the dough on a clean surface and mix a little. Divide in half and roll until two discs are formed, one small and one large. Wrap both in plastic wrap and refrigerate for about an hour.
For the filling, mix everything in a bowl and leave to rest for about 15 minutes. Place a sheet of paper on the tray around it and spread out a large disc of dough so that it covers the bottom and walls of the tray. The filling is added to the tray, on top of the dough, another disc is cut lengthwise and placed on top of the filling (exactly in the picture).
Beat the eggs and sugar and sprinkle the flour over the cake. Put the bread in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius for about 15 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 175 degrees and leave it in the oven for another 30 minutes.
Remove from the oven, let cool and serve with vanilla or chocolate ice cream.
